Stígur born 1980
Stígur was
Shown first in 1985, then received 1 prize as an
individual, and was honored accessibly as the best
breeding horse for conformation.
In 1991, at the age of eleven, Stigur was reworded 1
prize for offspring’s (15-49), and 1994 Stigur was
complemented, with honors for offspring’s (50 or more)
and in third place, Landsmót Hella 1994.
Trostan born 1986
Trostan got 1 prize, total score 8,15, in 1991 at the
age of 5 years old. In 1994 his score went up to 8, 36,
in the six year old group. Trostan has 1 prize for
offspring’s, although he was never shown, with is
descendants. His score in the Blub is currently 125
points, and second place (2003).
Sold to Germany 1995
Huginn born 1981
Huginn born 1981, Gelding. Full brother to Stígur. A
competition horse for many years, competing both as a 4
and 5 gaiter, with very good success. World champion in
5 gait and overall score 1995 Swiss, sold to Germany
1995.
Tývar born 1993
1 prize, with 9,5 both for Tölt and grace
in riding, at Landsmót Melgerðismelar 1998,
at the age of 5 years old. For the Landsmót
2004 Hella, received 1 prize for offspring’s
Töfri born 1996
Töfri was shown at the age of 4, and
received right away 1 prize. Again shown at
the Landsmót 2002, then 6 years old, with
the score of 8,45, shown as a 4 gaited
horse. Received four, 9,5´s, for Tölt,
grace in riding, slow Tölt, and one score
in conformation, for back.
Topar born 1999
Topar the older of the last two stallions
from Terna, full brother of Töfri, has not
been shown yet, trained in the winter of
2004, a 5 gaited horse with good movements,
a long step, similar character to Huginn,
his half brother, from Terna, can be trained
ether as a 4-5 gaited horse.
Trúr born 2000
Trúr is the last offspring of Terna, full
brother to both Töfri and Topar. This young
Stallion is very similar to Töfri, movements
and confirmation, though more of a 5 gaited
horse. Sold to Jan Ottar Fossy Norway.

Also Terna has breed good mares, although they have not
been as well known as her sons. Terna had in all, four
daughters, all of them are still at Kjartansstaðir,
except a foal born in 1997, sired by Kjarkur
Egilsstöðum. A black mare, with a blaze, was lost, while
