Fiðla frá Kjartansstöðum, born 2007

Is a light built mare, and we have been waiting for her to get stronger. She has movements like her father, Töfri,  and is eager. So power is the only factor that was missing. Now her strength is beginning to develop, and we have great hopes for her this spring, and summer

In this magnificent weather today we did just that!

It´s coming to the time, when it becomes possible to take a few photo´s of the horses, starting in training. In this magnificent weather today we did just that!  Here are Tilurð with Ingólfur Arnar, starting of her season, Tilurð is a five-gaited mare, with brilliant movements.

Huginn frá Kjartansstöðum is dead

Today we got the news that our beloved Huginn frá Kjartansstöðum is dead. He was much loved here at Kjartansstaðir. He had a big charisma, and was a great horse.

Around him was established the group “Old Hero’s” we very much hope the project, will go on, as planed. It would have been a lot of fun to meet our Hero, Huginn in Berlin, but it is not to be!

Huginn lives on in our minds and hearts, rest in peace
