Boði frá Kjartansstöðum

18/4/2015

Boði frá Kjartansstöðum wins the youth Tölt, at Sleipnir ridding club.

He´s a little kid, and we feel he should just be at
Home playing with his toys, but he wanted to go,
Were talking about Boði, not the rider!

But the young Stallion, was up for it, and won.
The youth tölt is for horses, that will be 4 or 5 years old this
Spring.

Boði is quite ready at the age of 4 years. And as a older horse,
We feel he´s going to be very strong as a T1 and V1 competition horse, just needs more strength.

Boði is inbreed, as a son of Töfri, and the mother is Krúna a daughter of Tývar,
Both Töfri and Tývar are sons of Terna.
rider: Matthías Leó Matthíasson

And last our promising young Stallion
Boði frá Kjartansstöðum,

sire: Töfri frá Kjartansstöðum
Dam Krúna frá Kjartansstöðum,

Boði will be 4 years old this spring.

In general people were happy with our show, had many positive comments, all depending on taste, and what type of a horse attracts.

Arnar Bjarki and Viðar are a sure bet if you want a solid pro performance

Glódís and Vedís are sisters, ridding siblings. And without taking into consideration there young age, they both rid like pro´s

And last riding Boði the young Stallion, Matthías Leó is our main, both trainer, and friend, decided to take the chance on the young Stallion, wanted to show his work this winter, and promote our breeding.

Matthías Leó came to Kjartansstaðir as a not to experienced rider,

And has become, mostly on his own, one of the best trainers on young horses, anyone can hope to have ride for him.  We are lucky to have him, and it has been a joy to see him develop.

And a lot of our good fortune, since we started to show horses again, is Matti´s work. But he is not a lone,

Ingólfur Arnar is the rock behind the business, both a good trainer, and organizer. Ingólfur is less interested in showing the horses, but his work is there!

So in conclusion, many new promising horses in the pipelines,

With the excellent work from Matthías Leó and Ingólfur Arnar preparing, and developing, these young talent’s, we will show, mostly young horse, in the year to come, and the next!
