As we promised to keep you posted, here is one of our new horses in training. The horse above is Tinni frá Kjartansstöðum, gelding. Dam is Tara frá Kjartansstöðum and his sire is the honorary stallion Hróður frá Refstöðum. Tinni is a high moving young horse, most likely 5 gaited.  And here is a picture of his sister, also after Tara, Töru-Glóð, sired by Dynur Hvammi  Náttfríður is one of our new mares in training this year. Here she is with her new shoes, very proud, what is it with females and shoes? Sire: Sædynur frá Múla Dam: Sál frá Kjartansstöðum  Konsert, the brother of Dár is doing well. These pictures show him after one month of training. Dár was a World Champion in T1 young riders class in 2011 and his younger brother seems to be very promising competition prospect. One of them is Veig, daughter of Töfri, this is her daughter after Þristur Feti, beautiful color, good movements. |
