Jan Ottar Fossøy, buys a fabulous young potential Stallion after Trúr. Jan Ottar is a powerful newcomer from Norway, in breeding the Icelandic horse. This young male, is extremely radiant, with hi movements and speed. The mother is a daughter of Sturla Hala. Vignir, Sturla´s full brother was a competition horse of Sigurbjörn Bárðason at the Landsmót at Vindheimamelar in 1990, where Sigurbjörn took him to the finals in B class.
Amoung other breeding horses Jan Ottar has bought are, Þota from
Hólar Hjaltadal a daughter of the famous Þrá. Þröm from Hólar
Hjaltadal, daughter of Þrenna and Viðar Viðvík. And Jan is a proud
50% owner of Trúr Kjartansstöðum. Þota and Þröm have foals this
summer after Trúr, pictures of them are at (young horses)( foals
from this summer.)
